Hamson’s Book Club practices daily reading and homework supervision, which is the simplest way to guide your child to build a good reading and learning habit from young.

Story Book Reading – Right after lunch, our teachers will engage the children in a fun and interactive story-telling and reading session, allowing the little minds to wonder with big imagination. Most importantly, it helps the children to build good listening and reading skills which are important for their future development.

Homework Supervision – Our teachers assign homework periodically to assess the learning progress of your child. It is important to ensure your child completes the designated homework, so that he/she is ready for learning the next day.

If you have opted for Half Day Lesson Programme, we highly recommend your child to join our Book Club as well!

Book Club session: Monday to Friday, between 12.00pm to 2.30pm.

Some of our kindergarten children have been staying with us beyond the curriculum time till 4pm on every school day.

The time invested by the parents & children are seeing results. As compared to the children who only attend Half Day Programme, children attending the Full Day Programme have excelled further in various areas (i.e. Intellectual, Emotional, Physical, and Social). Teachers who spend longer duration with the children have more opportunity to provide a more holistic guidance. Student Care works!

By joining our Student Care, your child will greatly benefit from our programmes which are designed to develop the potential and interests of your child. The child will be exposed to a variety of activities which develop his/her social skills, creative thinking, independent learning and many more!

Student Care programme encompasses the followings:

Indoor (Learning Corner) – All study and no play makes learning dull. Our carefully crafted Learning Corner allows your child to explore a good variety of learning kits beyond books, so that your child gets to exercise creativity and imagination through purposeful play.

School hours is Monday to Friday:
– Language Enhancement (2.30pm to 3.30pm)
– Student Care (12.30pm to 4.00pm)
– Student Care with Extended Hours (12.30pm to 6.00pm)

Meaningful enrichment programmes enable children to develop a wide range of skills. Most importantly, it is a platform for them to discover their interests, so they can explore and cultivate hobbies.

Enrichment programmes are held 4 sessions per month. It runs either on Wednesday or Saturday. The following are the 4 enrichment programmes you can find in Hamson:

Language Enhancement – The choice of language is English, Chinese, or Malay. This is suitable for children between 4 to 12 years old.

Art Lesson – We have specially crafted lessons for your children to express their creativity through Art. This is suitable for children between 4 to 12 years old. 

Taekwondo – Learning martial arts at a young age is fun, and it helps to build a strong sense of discipline in life. This is suitable for children of any age.

Diabolo Art – The Diabolo Art has a very long history, dated way back to the 12th century. To preserve and promote this Chinese tradition, we have been running this class for the past 8 years. This is suitable for children of any age.
